With Labor Day weekend nearly here, fall activities are kicking off around Chevy Chase with Montgomery County Public Schools starting their  year and the NFL regular season starting soon.

Montgomery County Schools – September Calendar

Kids headed back to school on Monday, and their first holiday is next Monday for Labor Day. Here’s the September 2010 calendar:

  • 09/06: Labor Day Holiday
  • 09/09: Rosh Hashanah Holiday
  • 09/14: Primary Election – Holiday

The Return of Washington NFL Football

Washington football kicks off in a couple of weeks versus Dallas. Here’s the September NFL schedule:

  • 09/12 vs. Dallas – 8:20 PM on NBC
  • 09/19 vs. Houston – 4:15 PM on CBS
  • 09/26 at St. Louis – 4:05 PM on FOX
